Digital Boss Academy Affiliate Program: The 85% Commission Math Explained
I’m a Digital Boss Academy affiliate myself, so take that into account, but everything below is pulled directly from the program’s own affiliate hub, not marketing copy.
Every Digital Boss Academy affiliate earns 85% commission on qualifying sales, on all three volumes. That works out to $94.35 on Volume 1, $188.70 on Volume 2, and $377.40 on Volume 3. This is a recent, complete change: as of mid 2026, all three volumes moved from a mix of Master Resell Rights and affiliate to a single affiliate model across the board.
How the Program Works Now
Confirmed directly inside the classroom’s Affiliate Resell Hub: “DBA operates on an affiliate model for all volumes… Volume 1 is Affiliate Only, Volume 2 is Affiliate Only, Volume 3 is Affiliate Only.” To earn commissions on a volume, you have to purchase that volume yourself, complete a separate affiliate registration for it, and get approved before you can use your link to promote it to anyone else.
You can only promote and earn on the volume(s) you personally own. Buy Volume 1, you can only earn on Volume 1 sales. Buy Volume 3, you can earn on all three, since Volume 3 includes access to the full classroom. When someone buys through your link, what they receive depends on what they bought: a Volume 1 buyer gets Volume 1 only, a Volume 2 buyer gets Volumes 1 and 2, and a Volume 3 buyer gets the entire classroom, including the shared vaults and bonus modules.

The Commission Math Per Volume
| Volume | Sale Price | Your Commission (85%) |
|---|---|---|
| Volume 1 | $111 | $94.35 |
| Volume 2 | $222 | $188.70 |
| Volume 3 | $444 | $377.40 |
This math comes straight from the "Commission Payouts" lesson inside the classroom, not a third party estimate. It's worth noting these figures assume standard pricing, if DBA is running a promotional sale at the time of a sale, the commission would be 85% of whatever the discounted price was, not the standard price, so your per-sale earnings could be lower during a promotional window even though the percentage stays the same.
Why All Volumes Are Affiliate Only Now
Volume 1 used to carry Master Resell Rights, meaning buyers kept 100% of whatever they resold it for, at whatever price they chose to set. That ended around June 30 to July 1, 2026. DBA's own affiliate updates say the change happened to reduce fraudulent activity and improve tracking, since MRR was reportedly being misused, fake receipts, underpricing, and terms violations were cited as reasons for the switch. Moving everyone onto a single tracked structure also means every buyer pays the same official price, rather than whatever an individual reseller decided to charge. I go deeper on the reasoning and timeline on why Master Resell Rights ended.
One related change: Beacons affiliate registrations were formally retired starting July 1, 2026. If you already have a Beacons affiliate link, you'll need to request a new DBA issued link and can only keep using Beacons as your storefront, not as your commission source. Existing Beacons affiliates were specifically advised to request an updated link, update their storefront, test the new links, and remove the old outdated ones before they stop working entirely.
Getting Your Affiliate Link Approved
The process, step by step:
- Purchase the volume you want to promote
- Complete the affiliate registration form for that specific volume (Stan Store, Selar for Africa-based affiliates, or "All Other Platforms" covering Beacons, Shopify, Pensight, and Planoly)
- Wait for approval, typically 24 to 48 business hours
- Receive your affiliate link by email and add it to your storefront
Make sure your email address is entered correctly during registration, since your approved link and dashboard access are both sent there, and a typo can mean a significant delay while you sort it out with support. Full walkthrough on becoming a DBA affiliate step by step covers each of these steps in more depth, including common mistakes to avoid.
Payout Timeline
Commission payouts are typically processed within 7 to 30 days of a confirmed sale. Exact timing depends on which platform you’re using (Stan Store, Selar, Beacons as a storefront, or another approved option), your country and your customer’s country, your bank’s own processing speed, and general factors like holidays or platform maintenance windows. DBA recommends checking your affiliate dashboard directly for the most accurate, up to date information on a specific payout rather than assuming a fixed schedule applies to every sale equally.
DBA gives you the affiliate structure and the commission math. It doesn’t hand you a funnel or an email sequence to promote it with. That’s the gap the Creator Accelerator: DBA Edition bonus fills, a $297 value bundle with a done-for-you DBA affiliate funnel, a written email series, and YouTube and Google article SEO training, included free when you buy any volume through the links on this page. It’s my own bonus, not part of the official DBA program, and you can offer it to your own referrals too.
